Welcome to Savoie Faire Holidays which is an independant, owner run, chalet company specialising in catered chalet winter holidays and summer activity holidays. At La Ferme du Chateau, our beautiful catered chalet, we offer elegant & stylish accommodation, an unrivaled level of service all in a relaxed and fun environment whether you are looking to stay for a week, long weekend or short break. We will meet you at Geneva and whisk you up to the farmhouse in approximately 1.5 hours where you will be greeted by the chalet team, offered refreshments, given your ski passes and taken to the ski hire shop to collect your pre-ordered skis, Food and wine are an important element of your catered chalet holiday with Savoie Faire and our chef, Andy, will prepare canapes and a 4 course evening meal on 6 evenings which is accompanied by our specially select wines chosen to complement his menu each evening. Another important element of your catered chalet holiday with Savoie Faire is the skiing. We are situated in the centre of La Chapelle d'Abondance and just behind us is the local ski area of Cret Beni and the cross country terrain. 2 minutes up the road by minibus and you reach La Pantiaz with direct access to the vast Portes du Soleil or on some days we may choose to start from Linga or Pre la Joux . Wherever we start from you will be driven to the lift system and collected at the end of your ski day, no walking in ski boots carrying skis. The Portes du Soleil has 650 km of pisted runs across both France and Switzerland offering plenty of scope for all levels. This vast and varied area combined with an excellent snow record means that skiing here is as good at the end of April as it is at the beginning of the season. During the summer La Ferme du Chateau offers self-catered, B&B or fully catered holidays for those that want to discover this fantastic region which is reknowned for its mountain biking, walking and other alpine activities. The perfect venue for families and friends alike.
I love this area and am sure you will too.....
