Catered chalet accommodation

Originally built in 1680, chalet La Ferme du Chateau has undergone an extensive renovation project offering its guests the best of the traditional alongside the benefits of modern comfort. It is in the centre of the beautiful old village of La Chapelle d’Abondance at the heart of this unspoilt farming valley which makes up part of the vast Portes du Soleil region. The Portes du Soleil region is the largest Internationally linked ski area in winter and offers some of the best acclaimed hiking and biking terrain in the summer months, combined with its proximity to Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) it has something to offer everyone. 

La Ferme du Chateau has 6 ensuite bedrooms, 5 of which have bath and shower facilities and 1 which has a wet room. All of these rooms can be twin or double rooms, and most can easily accommodate additional beds without compromising on comfort. All of the rooms are furnished to a high standard with 5* hotel quality beds, Egyptian cotton linen, luxury toiletries, fluffy dressing gowns, hairdryers, ipod docking stations and all have access to a south facing balcony, 1 bedroom having its own private balcony. There is also a sunken hot tub on the lower balcony offering the perfect treat after a day’s activity.
